An impressive weekend for Shebester Racing with both Seth and Steven finishing in the Top 10 Friday and Steven bringing home a Top 5 Saturday night before the rain rolled in canceling the remaining A features at Kennedale Speedway Park.

Seth ran with the TOWR Series  this weekend and competed against some tough competition from Texas.  Taking a little time to get  use to the track he finished 6 in his heat race.  At the Start of the A feature Seth would rocket from his last place starting spot (12) to seventh and would eventually click off one more spot before running out of laps.  Another Top 10 finish and more laps is just what he needed.  Next up back to the home track of I44 River side Speedway in Oklahoma City.

Steven would start 6th in his heat race and immediately would charge to second.  Trading slide jobs with leader Payton Pierce, the final  few laps saw Steven finishing a solid second.  With a solid heat race performance Steven was a part of the top 8 in passing points putting him in the redraw.  Once the re-draw was completed Steven found himself starting in the third position. The drop of the green flag and Steven went to work taking over the second place position, and set his sights on the leader.  Half way through the race the throttle stuck forcing Steven to change his line.  this allowed several cars to get passed him and eventually he would settle for 6th place.

The next day  Crew Chief and Driver worked hard going over the entire car to prepare for the evenings race.  Starting 7th in the heat and finishing 5th wasn't good enough for the redraw on this night.  Still making the feature  starting in the 11th position Steven kept his calm and raced his way through the field.  After a pair of red flag stoppages Steven was in the top 5.  The last restart would see lots of great racing throughout the field and Steven would come home in the 5th position.

When asked about his thoughts on the weekend Steven said  "Weekend went alright. Need more time with the car wing and non wing. We are learning a lot every time we race it. I think by the end of the year we will have it figured out."

Next up:

June 7th @ I44 Riverside Speedway in the Rick Bailey owned Midget and family owned Micro.
